      <![CDATA["As the tanuki, the animal has been significant in Japanese folklore since ancient times. The legendary tanuki is reputed to be mischievous and jolly, a master of disguise and shapeshifting, but somewhat gullible and absentminded. It is also a common theme in Japanese art, especially statuary."<br>
<br>
the raccoon suit is not really a non-sequitur. the flying, maybe.

      <![CDATA[As someone who thinks video games don't get the artistic credibility they deserve, I found this very interesting. I don't know enough about surrealism to dip into that portion of the discussion, but I'm glad that the presumption that there can be no artistic value in electronic games is going away.
