      <![CDATA[This isn't that much of a surprise. In fact, the premise is a bit misleading. The Mormon Church has grown significantly in the last 8 years and in doing so, it has diversified as well. So, while Mitt may have lost to W in terms of percentage, he received far more votes because of his religious background and, if we consider the relatively small difference between the two outcomes, actually did a good job appealing to a more heterogeneous (and thus likely more liberal) voting bloc.<br>

I'm not a Mormon or a Romney-supporter, but I think this article is unfair and misleading, despite relying on fact.<br>
