      <![CDATA[It is lucky that Joseph Rose didn't write this story, otherwise there would probably be quite a bit of blame discussing the lack of protective equipment the dead person was wearing and pointing out that they could have used better lights and... oh wait they were walking and not on a bicycle, well I guess that explains why the Oregonian isn't rushing to blame the victim...
