2) This pretty much guarantees Giacchino is scoring, which makes me super-happy. I mean, I know Williams could still do it, but I'm pretty sure he's tired, and unless Spielberg himself is asking, he doesn't really do scores anymore.

3) Star Trek '09 was already pretty much a Star Wars movie, so I don't see how this is at all a bad thing.

4) Even if it IS a bad thing, Kathleen Kennedy will just get Ben Affleck to do the next one, and who wouldn't want to see THAT shit?

5) But considering you got an Academy Award-nominated screenwriter, one of the best pop-filmmakers around, and probably the best composer currently working all behind the camera? This is off to a pretty decent start

6) Hope this doesn't mean Star Trek Into Darkness sucks.
