His clients are stranded and he is in Paris. It is obvious why Terry lost his lawsuit, and he is surely facing more against himself now. I was informed that the owner of TheBigDay.Com, Terry Beard, was aware that his clients were stranded all over the world, and that the brides and grooms were not going to receive their registry money on time, if at all. This was on the 19th of April, 2009. I was informed by one of the employees of TheBigDay.com, and we were very upset. We were due to leave the next day to Fiji, had spent thousands of dollars, and our resort was not paid for. I contacted the resort and they said TheBigDay.Com and Happy Vacations never paid them. Our airline tickets were not paid for, even though we received an itinerary stating they were. We were also informed by employees that the owner, Terry Beard, left the next day for Paris, France, on his own vacation, and we were told that he stated to his employees that he did not care about what was going on. We were then told that all the employees were laid off, and came to work to volunteer to try to rebook their stranded and cheated clients. I was also told by one employee who I can not reach now, that the co-owner and co-founder, Michael Cottam, refused to assist the volunteering employees rebook or help his clients, or any clients at TheBigDay.com. Instead he went to a fund raiser coctail party, and his monthly rotary meeting, all while his clients were stranded, or getting married like us, and were preparing to travel on our honeymoon, but nothing was paid for. Where is the attorney general. Why is the owner in Paris. What a rip off.

What's next - Terry Beard suing people simply because they refuse to say that they like you, even if they didn't say anything "(cantakerous obnoxious dishonest)" about you, either?

"Waah, he refused to compliment me and to sing my praises! Waah!"

I don't know; maybe I'm slightly "insensitive" (or downright "tone deaf" at times, since I take much worse Internet abuse than that and I don't complain about it much) but it does seem like such a non-event to get so worked up over.

In any event, I wonder what is to be said about the "right to face your accuser"? You know, that pesky little thing called the Sixth Amendment of the US Constitution? Apparently,. Oregon (or at least an Oregon judge) doesn’t recognize this piece of, um… advice.
