I watched the debate at Kelly's Olympian. Obama is more humane and in touch with reality and is able to hold a civil discourse without losing his cool. McCain clung to Republican buzz phrases (no more taxes! no more spending! no more terror!) and used repeated annoying terms like "Joe the Plumber" and "precious children," but with that scary clenched jaw and row of yellow teeth he looks like he wants to eat some precious children, not save them. He looks like a giant naked mole rat with lockjaw. But he's a mean old snake and on the offensive and a lot of people who DON'T live in Portland are going to like that and I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a McCain victory by any means. Unfortunately.
